Elvis on the rhythm he so memorably had, especially in his hips: "Rhythm is something you either have or don't have but when you have
it, you have it all over."

Ian Hunter on the powerful attraction of Elvis. Hunter was a member
of Mott the Hoople, best known for the hit, "All the Young Dudes." The
band broke up in 1976 and Hunter moved onto a solo career.
Bruce Springsteen on Presley's influence on rock music. "The Boss"
has performed "Can't Help Falling in Love" in concert.
Many people have covered Bob Dylan songs, including artists like
U2 and Jimi Hendrix, but Dylan obviously appreciated being covered by the
King. Elvis recorded Dylan's "Tomorrow Is a Long Time" in 1966.
Buddy Holly followed Elvis' footsteps, recording such hits as "That'll
Be The Day" in the late 1950s. Holly was killed in a plane crash in 1959.
Another 1950s star whose followed in the path blazed by Elvis' popularity,
Little Richard, born Richard Penniman in Macon, Georgia, recorded such
rock standards as "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Tutti Frutti."
